The period of a B.Tech programme by distance education typically takes between 4 and 6 years, varying from one university to another and also based on the mode of study. Nonetheless, according to AICTE policies, B.Tech by distance education is not recognised in India. In case you desire flexibility in studies, you can check out part-time, evening, or work-integrated B.Tech programs that are available from some universities.

You can pursue evening-mode B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from universities offering part-time or working-professional courses. Universities such as DTU, NSIT, and certain state universities offer such courses. Admission is typically through entrance exams or merit in your Diploma or 12th. Check the official website of the university for eligibility, application procedure, and deadlines.
