Yes, a certain percentage of the total seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates seeking admission to the Rajasthan University BTech programe. As per the university's seat reservation policy, 16% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. Moreover, 12% seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribe candidates.

University of Rajasthan accepts valid national and international level entrance test scores. Thus, candidates with valid JEE Main scores are eligible for BTech admission at the university. 

The JEE Main tentative dates for sessions 1 and 2 have been announced by the NTA. As per the announcement, the session 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in January and the second session in April.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology accepts the JEE Mains and OJEE 2025 exams,  state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell for admission to the BTech course.

  • The JEE Main Session 1 exam 2025 was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025. The JEE Mains 2025 Registration Session 2 on February 1. JEE Mains 2025 Registration last date session 2 is February 25. JEE Mains session 2 exam date is April 1 to 8. JEE Mains 2025 exam date session 2 is April 1 to 8.

The total fee for KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering is INR 14 lakh. Candidates need to pay the course fee at the time of admission and then semester-wise during the programme. The semester fee for BTech is INR 1.75 lakh. In case an aspirant is unable to pay the fee within the stipulated time, his or her admission stands cancelled.
