The BTech cutoff at JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU) varies according to engineering specializations and admission levels. Overall, JSSSTU's BTech cutoff is typically higher than that of most engineering institutes in Karnataka.
As an example, for the Computer Science and Engineering programme in 2022, the cutoff points were 42285 for general applicants, 41658 for OBC applicants, and 36966 for SC/ST applicants.

Candidates have to appear for entrance examination and counselling wherever applicable. For NIET Diploma admission, candidates have to appear for JEECUP, and for B.Tech and B.Pharma, students have to appear for JEE Main and UPCET, respectively, followed by counselling.
NIT admission generally begins after the declaration of final phase JEE Main result. To participate in NIT admission for BTech, candidates will have to complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling process. Aspirants are advised to check NIT admission criteria beforehand to avoid any problems during admission.

No dear, you are not eligible for taking admission in B.Tech Automobile engineering programme . The eligibility of course is - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST . You can choose any other programme such as B.Com, BBA, BA etc.

Shortlisted candidates must register online for UPCET counselling and select NIET as their preferred college. Seats will be allotted as per the choices filled and the scores of UPCET. Candidates have to submit the documents for verification and pay the fees once the seat is allotted.

The median package offered to B.Tech students during 2023 placements in India was INR 9.5 LPA, according to a survey conducted by Shiksha.com. The survey covered over 100 engineering colleges across the country.
The median package offered varied depending on the branch of engineering, with students in Computer Science and Engineering receiving the highest median package of INR 12 LPA. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology placement report 2023 is not released. However, the the highest and average package offered during RGIPT BTech (Chemical Engineering) placements 2022 stood at INR 18 LPA and INR 10.33 LPA. In addition, 32 students were placed out of 47 students during RGIPT BTech Chemical Engineering placements 2022.
