Candidates passing Class 12 with a minimum of 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course. Amity University Gwalior admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main/ National or state-level Engineering entrance exam/ AMCAT score. Besides, A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required to apply for Amity Gwalior BTech courses. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can also apply for BTech Biotechnology.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech. under general category for all India quota was 28243. In 2023, it increased to 37530. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 28243 to 37530 for OBC 28243 to 37530 for SC 28243 to 37530 for ST 28243 to 37530 for EWS 28243 to 37530 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.
