No, you cannot get into NIT Nagaland for the BTech course without appearing for the JEE Main entrance examination. Candidates who want enrolment to the BTech course have to attempt the JEE Main exam and sit for the JoSSA counselling process to be eligible for a seat.
Also, students should have completed their Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate (for the General category) to be able to write the JEE Main paper.

To be eligible for BTech, students must have completed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate (for the General category). For more details on the subject, students can reach out to the admission office. Additionally, admission to NIT Nagaland for its four-year BTech course is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. For seats that remain vacant after JoSAA counselling, admission is offered via CSAB Counselling.

BTech at NIT Nagaland is provided in six streams. Students can take admission through JEE Main. NIT Nagaland average package for the BTech course stood at INR 8.09 LPA and the highest package stood at INR 45 LPA in the year 2022. Since all the programmes of NIT Nagaland are entrance exam based. So seats are allotted through individual counselling. For example, a BTech seat is allotted through JoSSA counselling. To apply for BTech based on national-level entrance exam, candidates need to visit the official website of NTA to fill out the application form and pay the prescribed application fee online. BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency. The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and for girls, it is INR 800. Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility to get admission to BTech at Woxsen University. Candidates who passed Class 10 and Class 12 in Science with a minimum 55% aggregate from a recognised board are eligible to apply for BTech at Woxsen University. However, it's mandatory to study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Language in Higher Secondary School. Moreover, students should have a good understanding of the English language. Apart from this, students must have taken any one of the following exams:
