For admission to BTech at IIIT Una, eligible candidates can apply for the counselling through JoSAA nd CSAB.
Find below a list of documents required to complete the JEE-Main application process:
- Valid email id and mobile number
- Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned by the NTA

According the cutoff list released by IIIT Una for admission to its flagship BTech programme the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023 was 41419, 28324 & 30243 respectively. This clearly shows that the closing rank for the CSE branch at IIIT Una increased excessively in the year 2022 with respect to the year 2021 but it couldn’t maintain that growth for very long and crashed down to 30243 in the current year 2023 which makes the lowers the difficulty level for those who are willing to enrol in BTech in CSE at IIIT Una. There is no such provision for direct admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una. IIIT Una accepts admission for the BTech programme based on a valid rank in JEE-Main. Candidates aspiring to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must take the JEE-Main exam conducted by NTA by filling out the its application form through JEE official website. Candidates having JEE-Main rank above the closing rank specified in the cut-off list released by the college can apply for the counselling process where they can fill their branch preferences followed by document verification and fee payment.

There is no such provision for direct admission in any of the programme offered at IIIT Una including the BTech programme. Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una must fulfil the following requirements:
- The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
- Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.

The eligibility for the BTech course at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed each subject separately.
