NITs are one of the top BTech offering institutions in India. It provides excellent placement support. As per some media reports, the institute has kicked start the recruitment process for the class of 2023. As of now, the offered average and the highest package stood at INR 12.84 LPA and INR 52 LPA, respectively. Further, as per the reports, the number of recruiters that visited the campus rose by 20% and the count stood at 36. The institute also witnessed the participation of new recruiters like Stryker Corporation, Nagarro, and Delhivery, among others.

Candidates seeking admission are required to appear for JEE Main and pass the national-level exam with a cut-off rank for admission. Hence, students must complete JEE Main application process. Further, candidates with a valid rank then need to register for JoSAA counselling, following which the seat allotment is carried out. 

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has a seat intake of 1,152 for the four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) course offered in nine specialisations of Engineering. This total seat intake is mentioned as per seat intake taken from JoSAA 2022 portal. The highest seat intake is for BTech CSE, i.e., 178.

 NIT Calicut offers 10 specialisations under the BTech course in a full-time mode. The duration of all the courses is four years. Presented below are all the BTech specialisations offered at NIT Calicut:

Candidates seeking admission to a BTech course at NIT Calicut must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also, they must attain minimum of 75% aggregtae in their final exam of Class 12. The students whose results are pending can also apply for the course provisionally. Moreover, candidates must have academic certificates for verification purposes.

There are three BTech specialisations for BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. Mechatronics Engineering has 33 seat allocated, meanwhile other two specialisations have 66 seat each. Admissison to the BTech specialisations includes a valid scoe from the JEE Main exam followed by counselling.

For BTech and M.Tech dual degree admissions through AUEET, the candidates will be able to select their choice of course. The available courses for AUEET BTech and M.Tech dual degree admission are - Computer Science & Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Networking, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering and Instrumentation Technology. Candidates are advised to check the courses carefully before making their choice.

Given below are the eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Una:

• The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
• Also, candidates must have valid JEE-Main ranks based on which they can apply for the common counselling process through JoSAA and CSAB.
