Candidates aspiring to enrol in the BTech programme at IIIT Kottayam must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Also, the candidate should have a valid rank in JEE-Main exam based on which they can apply for the counselling process through JoSAA at IIIT Kottayam for the BTech programme. JIS College of Engineering has a decent placement record for BTech students. Here are some key points:

• The placement rate recorded during JIS College of Engineering BTech and M.Tech placements 2022 was 86%. 
• Almost 85% of students got placed in the B.Tech course. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.
• JIS College of Engineering, Kolkata placement programme provides for employment opportunities to the students with an equal emphasis on IT and Core engineering.
• ECE and IT have the highest placement ratio. The package varies from 10+ LPA to 2.5 LPA. But most of the students get placed when companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech.

The Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering has a good placement record. The highest salary package offered is up to 30 LPA. The placement process starts in August and companies start visiting the campus from October onwards for campus selection. The university has a dedicated placement cell with an enviable track record of more than 100% student’s placement.
