Yes, UEM Kolkata offers a four-year BTech course via its Department of Engineering. Candidates get option to choose among nine specialisations. As per the selection process, it's mandatory for students to qualify for IEMJEE exam to get admission to any of the BTech specialisation at UEM Kolkata. There are a total of 1500 seats for all the BTech specialisations in AKGEC. The seat allotment is carried out through UPTAC counselling and based on Class 12, AKGEC score, followed by an interview round. Tabulated below is the specialisation-wise seat intake:

Candidates seeking admission to the BTech course at Sri Venkateswara University must take an entrance exam. The university accepts the scores of various national and state-level entrance exams. The exams are AP EAMCET and AP ECET. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria too. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

The college has released the branch-wise list of recruiters for BTech placements. Goldman Sachs, Cognizant, and TCS were leading companies that participated in Civil Engineering placement sessions over the past few years. While, Zensar, Capgemini, Intellipaat, Virtusa, etc. were part of the CSE placement drive. EEE, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering branches witnessed the participation of Mphasis, Wipro, Amazon, Cvent, Newgen, JK Technosoft Limited, and many other prominent recruiters.
