BTech students who are eligible for the Sports Scholarships are given admission on the fast track. That means they do not have to appear for the Sports Trial and Interview and their admission is done based on their application form and assessment of sports certificates for the last three years.

The University has not released the placement rate achieved over the past three years. However, the 100% placement data is only possible, if each of the BTech students achieves decent scores in their academics, performs well in interviews, maintains attendance, and other factors. As per the official data more than 1,750 students were placed since the inception of the Amity Centre for Career Development. The selection for the BTech course is based on Amity JEE/ JEE Mains/ CUET UG scores. Additionally, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to the BTech course. A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 55% aggregate is required to apply for a BTech course. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with PCM/ Biology with at least 55% aggregate can apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to the BTech course.

Amity University starts its admission process with the release of the application form. Every year, the university releases the application form in November/ December. Currently, the university is not taking any new registrations for the 2024 batch. Furthermore, expectedly the university is going to release the admission dates for the 2025 batch in November 2024. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website of the university to keep track of admissions dates.

NTA is yet to announce the JEE Main application form date 2025 for admission to BTech courses at Amity University Kolkata, and other institutions. The application form is likely to release in the first week of November and will be available until December 2nd week. The exact JEE Main 2025 application form date will be available on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Yes, candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course at Amity University Kolkata. Such candidates do not have appear for any entrance exam and can directly participate in document verification. Aspirants who are not eligible for direct admission have to pass CUET UG/ JEE Main/ Amity JEE. For BTech Biotechnology, candidates can apply with a NEET score also.
