HIT is taking admission through JEE mains. You have to participate a separate counseling for HBTU. For CSE, cut off for general category is around 13,042(first round). 16,894(second round), 18,213( third round).
These cut off only for catagorywise with no quota like Girls quota, Physical handicap etc.

The institute offers admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes based on candidates marks in JEE Main/MHT CET. Walchand College of Engineering Sangli cutoff is the closing ranks of MHT CET/JEE Main. Separate cutoffs are released for JEE Main and MHT CET. Walchand College of Engineering Sangli cutoff is released by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell on its official website. Only candidates meeting the WCE Sangli cut off requirements are eligible for admission to B.Tech programmes. The cutoff of the college varies from programme to programme. Furthermore, it also varies as per the category of students.

It is good to choose cse branch if you are going to take admissions in Tulas. otherwise I will suggest you to drop an year and crack some competitive exam to take admissions in good college or university if u can. It will secure your future and also you will enjoy your btech life so now u have two options-
1.either save 1 yr and take admissions in private colleges and ruin your whole life easily
2.or u can put your full effort for 1yr to save and bright your future.
Take your time and then decide what to do. do not listen to others.
I am telling u this because I have already gone through options 1.
All the best!

At 14000 rank in TS EAMCET it looks hard for you to get CSE in CBIT. As you haven't mentioned your category, I am assuming you as general, so the data is provided on the base of general category. Even though if you are from Reserved you must be within 5000 and for open you must be within 1800 rank for men and women.

Jain University, School Of Engineering and technology is a deemed to-be university on the outskirts of Bangalore. They have fees structure on the higher side. From the year 2021, the university does not provide CET admission. Only intake of students is management. It is pretty good but there are better colleges out these which can provide better educational facilities for the same fees or even lesser. The placements are getting better every year.

Yes, there is a good probability to get into it. Don't see last round cut off because spot round would have totally different scenario. On my past experience, i know someone who got in mae in spot round with 1lakh+ rank in 2020.
All the best

CSE is best in the NITs given below:
For CSE (decreasing order of ranking)
NIT TRICHY less than 255
NIT WARANGAL less than 240
NIT SURATKAL less than 230
NIT ALLAHABAD (MNNIT) less than 230
NIT ROURKELA less than 220
But wait I have something more for you
If you do not get CSE go for IT because both branches are 90% same.

Yes, you can.
If you have appeared for the JEE mains 2018, then you can seek admission in B.Tech CSE,as well as in ECE and Food science in the Amritsar campus.
Previous year data
General CSE less than 1,25,000
For category can vary up to less than 5,00,000
General ECE less than 1,90,000
For category less than 6,00,000
The ranks I mentioned above can be achieved without clearing the JEE mains cut off.
I am in ECE having marks 72 and rank of 1,52,000
But my personal suggest will be to go for Cse . Thats better that you will realise after a lonflg period.
