Yes indeed. MIT Chennai gives admissions to students directly into the second year of engineering after passing of Diploma course. You just need to follow the advertisements that will appear when Diploma examination are held or there about. Best wishes to you.

Hello Bhavesh, presently in India, internship is not necessary for doing M.Tech after completion of B.Tech. Of course National Education Policy, once implemented, has provision for internships right from school days. Recently AICTE has issued some guidelines for engineering colleges to begin internships as part of engineering course but pandemic has put paid this proposal. You need not worry presently.
