Hello Arathi Krishna, yes there are plenty of good post graduate Diploma courses available in Canada and plenty of Indian students go there every year for studies. The biggest advantage is the language which is English for studying. Yes, you would be eligible. Normally speaking for any such examinations being conducted by public bodies like UPSC or state Service selection board if the criteria is graduation then invariably the students who are appearing in the final year examination are allowed to appear. This is of course subject to the condition that they have not only passed their graduation examination but pass it with the minimum percentage of marks as prescribed. Best wishes to you.

Engineering Diploma holders of other Institutes are not eligible to apply for AMU eight semesters B.Tech courses. However Diploma holders of other institutes can apply for eight semesters B.E. Courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical of AMU. Eligibility criteria : Diploma in engineering. In the relevant branch of study or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with 50% marks.

There are no such issues related with the changing in courses stream. Changing in course stream is not punishable and students can change the streams as per their requirements. So you can change your stream from B.A. To B.Tech.

Transfer between the engineering colleges is possible, If colleges are affiliated to the same University. Because of the course curriculum and fee structure of affiliated colleges are same. The transfer between the two different Universities is difficult because of their own rules and regulations.
