Aeronautical engineering tends to focus on flight and activities within an atmosphere, a more dedicated field of aerospace studies that usually includes the atmosphere, but also extends into applications in space, where there is no atmosphere. Both Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering are good branches. If you want to work in the aircraft building industry then aerospace engineering is the right course for you. However, if you look forward to work in the space industry, then aeronautical engineering is the right branch for you. My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering. Organized International Go-Kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. The Mechanical Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design, and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The department has to its credit more than 48 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference.
