What is the procedure of lateral entry of Diploma holders in B.Tech civil engineering at NIT Jalandhar?

Let me tell you that Niether IIT's nor NIT's have Lateral Entry Scheme into 2nd year of B.Tech. There is no such provisions into NIT's for that. Even Diploma Engineering Student who cracks AIEEE will be provided Admission to the first year of B.Tech at NIT's or IIIT's. As there is no provision for lateral entry into 2nd year. However, request was made for indroducing such provisions but has be rejected as it will effect the quality and faculty of education at NIT's.

Hello Rahman, it's indeed great to SEE that you are interested in admission in engineering College. You just need to be more consistent with your studies. Be regular, be positive, try to learn the subject at this stage rather than looking to score more. Try to solve previous years papers. Try to give as many mock tests as possible. That's all!

Hello Veshagopu, I can understand your trepidation or anxiousness in selecting the next course of action after completion of intermediate. Just don't get worried. Every student goes through these emotions and these are most normal at this point in time. My sincere advice to you would be to select the branch or the stream of your studies which you like the most. It could be Science it could be arts for fine arts for commerce or engineering or medical or dental or anything that you fancy. The per year fee of B.Tech CSE of Kanpur Institute of Technology is Rs 100000. While the Hostel fee if about Rs 60000 according tto type of accommodation.
