Yes you can get the best NITs or even IITs also after obtaining good rank in JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. The basic eligibility criteria for admission in NITs and IITs is given below. Eligibility criteria :
1. 10+2 with minimum 75% of aggregate marks (For general category) with Physics, Mathematics and anyone from Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects. 65% (for SC/ST).
2. National Institute of Open Schooling conducted Senior Secondary School Examination with a minimum of five subjects. Further NIOS board does not offers the B.Tech courses, NIOS board is for open schooling (Secondary, Sr. Secondary etc. ).

Eligibility criteria : 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate.
