Hello Pankaj, Let me clear you that UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are conducted by NTA to determine the eligibility criteria for assistant professor and junior research fellowship. The difference is that Science stream candidates can apply in CSIR NET exam for earth, life, physical, chemical and mathematical Science subjects, on the other hand arts, commerce and other stream candidates can apply for one of the 81 subjects in UGC NET exam. The minimum eligibility to apply for the NET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks. As you have completed the graduation, you can appear in NET after post-graduation degree, You should apply for UGC NET computer Science and applications.The UGC NET exam consists two papers and paper 2 consists questions related to your master's subject. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST is exempted. Other wise you will have to give LPU NEST which can also offer you a bigger scale of scholarship besides your eligibility. The basic concept you studied in your XIIth class should be revised. The syllabus and the paper pattern of your course would be given on the website of LPU.
