I will suggest you to go for another degree. At least complete your B.E. /B.Tech degree. Many AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved private/government. Engineering colleges do have lateral entry scheme for Diploma holders. The REASON why I'm asking you to get a B.E. /B.Tech degree is that, now a days there are so many B.E. /B.Tech degree holders. Each year approximately 1.5 Million engineers are graduating from different colleges throughout India. So the competition in market is way too high, now a days. Just with a Diploma it is hard to live a first class life. Even after completing graduation in Engineering many

Hello Anjali,
It's very nice to see that you are interested in pursuing graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma in engineering. The fees charged by majority of colleges for different branches of engineering is almost same. Though it differs widely with institute or university. Fees in general vary from about 2.5 L to 5L for four year course. For lateral admission it would be proportional to three years since fee is same for direct or lateral admission students.

Hi Jatin,
It depends if you are looking for admission in private or government college. Every college has their eligibility criteria, usually 50% or 60% in 12th is preferred if you score less than this percentage than the college consider your marks and ranks of other exams. So, first, select the colleges and than look out for the criteria they prefer.
