JNTU Kondagattu is not the best option but surely it is a good option. You can expect initial placement of Rs 20k per month. Infrastructure is very good and the campus is also good. Faculty is not good, so you have to be self-dependent on the studies.

Yes, GBU takes lateral entry in B.Tech in every stream. However, the candidate should fulfil the eligibility criteria which is 3 years Diploma course or B.Sc. Also, the candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% throughout.

Admission to B.Tech in BIT Mesra is done on the basis of AIR in JEE Mains through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Yes, as per JoSAA schedule, it is clearly mentioned that round-1 reporting dates are:
June 28th, 2019 to July 02nd, 2019 (5 days). So, these are (28,29,30,1,2) five days.
