It differs with different universities, if you are applying in a Tier I University they select only students who have no backlogs and with good extra activities. So, when you specify a University it would be easy to say the eligibility criteria.

Amity has a very good campus. People think what is the benefit of campus but go and ask people studying in small private colleges. They get irritated spending 4 years in one building. You have 60 acres Noida campus (I have heard it has expanded now) to roam. Placement might not be 100% but the reason is mostly that of the irresponsible behavior of students. I guess, there are 100s of company visiting the campus every year. The problem will be there on university end if nobody if getting placed but if 2000 student got placed and you are not getting placed that's a problem on your side.

Hello Ankit, A student can not give exam for 12th again and again after passing out. Option is improvement which you have already availed. In addition to this a report by HRD ministry reveals that only 50% of fresh engineering graduates could be placed. Mysincere advise to you would therefore is leave engineering. There are plenty of options. Commerce, pure Science, arts etc. Which have tremendous scope. Just think over it and decide. Best wishes.

Hello Suraj Kumar,

It's also a fact that thousands of seats in private engineering colleges are remaining vacant & this is one way of filling these & hence condition of domicile may not be existing. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this exam. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/amp/dcet-exam?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQCCAE=#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/dcet-exam
