Hello Himanshi, yes indeed. For admissions into bio related engineering courses taking biology in 12th is perfectly acceptable. However, there are some institutions that have mandated maths and physics as compulsory and choice between chemistry or biology. Hence, you need to check before applying.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Iragamreddy,
You would be eligible for IIT kharagpur once you clear JEE advance exam as admission to IIT is on the basis of advance scores and rank and not on the basis of mains exam scores. Once exam of advance is conducted and result is out for the same only, then you will come to know either you can take admission in IIT Kharagpur.
Good luck

If you are non medical student and your interest is in B.Tech, then don't confuse yourself. Go with your interest area. It's a good choice for a good college. You need to crack entrance exams so that you will get valuable education like IITs, NITs, etc. Birla Institute of Technology, Vellore, Christ University, Delhi University, Jamia, Aligarh Muslim University.
