Yes, you are eligible for the exam. In fact, after doing the Diploma, you are eligible to take admission in B.Tech course as a lateral entry.

Hi Raghav,
Though few universities provide B.Tech degree through distance mode, but it is not recommended to pursue the same. You can opt for some good certification courses in computer science.
Thanks.

Hi,
Canadian universities being highly competitive particularly for Masters, it's difficult to pick universities randomly. Sure, you can check a few such as University of Windsor, University of Winnipeg, Simon Fraser University, Concordia University, Dalhousie University and so on. More competitive ones include University of Toronto and university of British Columbia. You have to check the websites for entry requirements. Take help of a study abroad consultancy if you want help to shortlist universities.

Please note that most of the recruiting companies make it at most 6 or 6.5 or 7, as the cut off GPA as the primary eligibility criterion in the qualifying UG degree. Beneficially, some companies mark 5 or no GPA cut off, as the eligibility criterion. Moreover, this is applicable to the MBA GPA too. Besides, other criteria such as no ATKTs, no backlogs, etc., should also be met.
