If 26500 is your general rank, then you can choose NIT Jamshedpur for Mechanical engineering or if it is your OBC rank, then it is a little bit difficult for getting mech at NIT.

PLACEMENT WING:
The placements were good and companies were adequate. Many companies like Reliance Jio, L&T, L&T Infotech, National Stock Exchange Infotech and Mu Sigma had visited for placement drives and about 70 percent of the final-year students got selected. All the companies offered an average package of 3.5 Lacs per annum. Snapdeal offered 15 Lacs per annum and 2 students bagged it. I got a package of 3.5 Lacs.
5/10.

Hello Pratik,
Oh no. MIT does not accept students in middle of the course. But why leave IIT? It is the best institute for doing engineering, perhaps even better than MIT.

Please check the eligibility criteria mentioned on the website. As I know, it is a minimum of 50% in class 10th, 12th and graduation. Moreover, at least, one of the exams from CAT, XAT and CMAT with a good score is required.

Your marks are a little less than required to get admission in COEP Mechanical, so you cannot get admission in COEP but you can apply in other colleges in Pune. You will definitely get a good college.

Sorry, but your percentile is low according to your marks. To get admission in any branch of COEP, you should have a percentile above 90.

Yes. For this you are to register for lateral entry admission online. Based on your mark if you are eligible (chances there if comes within top 10 in your stream in Maharashtra) you can get admission in second year of B.Tech in COEP. Best wishes.

A minimum of 60 marks is good enough to get a job opportunity. There are various opportunities in ECE, you can go for various IT companies which asks for 60 all through academics. You can also go for MBA after graduation. MBA colleges not only look at marks but also give priority to extra-curricular activities.
