Placements in academic year 2017-2018 in SDMCET college was good. Approximately, 50-60 companies visited the campus, most of them were IT companies .The highest package was around INR 13 lakhs and the average package is INR 3.75 lakhs package, approximately 70%-75% students got placed through campus placements in this academic year. I am sure you will, those grades are good. However, admissions will also depend on your SOP and LOR. You may take the SAT just confirm with the university if they accept SAT and check if they have spring intake or not. The sooner you apply the better.

Once you have done M.Sc and Ph.D in mathematics, you will be fully knowledgeable and there would be no difference between you and others who may have done this after BA or B.Sc in maths.

Actually, the problem is that admit card for different courses comes under the field of a particular course. For BMS, admit card must be there for any other field.
