You generally need to appear for entrance exams at the national/state/college level for admission to BTech Civil Engg. While the JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and CUET exams are some choices at the national level, there are several state-level exams as well that you can consider.
Some important ones are given here:
MHT CET - Maharashtra
AP EAMCET - Andhra Pradesh
KCET & COMEDK UGET - Karnataka
TS EAMCET - Telangana
KEAM - Kerala
WBJEE - West Bengal
For Tamil Nadu students, TNEA Counselling after 12th is a primary source of admission to government-funded BTech Civil Engineering colleges.

Over 500 companies participated in the placement drives and offered more than 600 job roles. The highest CTC was INR 34.6 LPA, the lowest was INR 4.40 LPA. The average CTC was INR 10.17 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Paypal, Alembic, MRF, Morris Garage Motors, TCS, Zydus, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Kotak Bank.

Navrachana University accepts the exam scores of JEE (Main) and GUJCET for shortlisting prospective candidates for BTech admission. Hence, candidates aspiring to pursue a BTech at the university must appear for at least one of these exams. Candidates with valid scores in JEE (Main) or GUJCET can secure a BTech seat at the university in two ways. They can either register for the GUJCET counselling conducted by the ACPC or directly on the university's official website.

Navrachana University require aspirants to undergo a comprehensive selection process before final admission to the BTech programme. The first requirement is to fulfil the specified eligibility criteria. Further, aspirants can get admission in one of the following two ways:
- Admission for 50% of the seats is done through the GUJCET counselling conducted by the ACPC, Government of Gujarat.
- Admission for the remaining 50% of the seats are provided by the university based on the applicants' JEE (Main)/ GUJCET scores.
