B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

Strong placement and solid infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently studying at the Institute of Science and Technology, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science. I am in the 3rd year, and in my batch, nearly 45% of students took part in internships provided by our college. The highest package offered in our previous batch was 10 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. The placement process is good.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my engineering course at SVMCM were comprehensive. We had well-equipped labs, modern classrooms with Wi-Fi access, and a resourceful library. In terms of hostel facilities, the quality was satisfactory, providing a conducive living environment. The mess and canteen offered a variety of food options, maintaining decent quality. There were provisions for sports and games, contributing to a balanced student life.
Faculty: The teachers at Swami Vivekanand Institute of Science and Technology were generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with some instructors excelling in delivering content effectively. The course curriculum was relevant, aiming to make students industry-ready by incorporating practical applications. The difficulty of semester exams depended on the subject, but they were generally challenging.
Other: I chose this engineering course because of my interest in machine learning and the promising career prospects it offered. The best things about my course included hands-on lab experiences, industry-oriented projects, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. While the course had its strengths, I wished for more emphasis on practical application and real-world projects. The college organized events and fests that added vibrancy to campus life. The campus crowd was diverse, and various extracurricular activities were available. Scholarship opportunities were present, contributing to financial support for deserving students. Overall, the college provided a well-rounded experience.

It's okay to get a degree but it doesn't have good placements.
Placements: Below average for placements because their is not so much practicality and the education so that's why the company's are not showing interest in the college but the college is trying to get the company to get driven by the various programs like CRT and other skill learning programs.
Infrastructure: There is no boys college hostol, only private hostol, college has good ground and garden, and canteens are also available in the college big blocks, with a large central library in the admin block and a large auditorium, but labs are not so good.
Faculty: Average faculty and general courses like EEE, CVL, Mech, and ECE, and also CSE, but most of the strength is from the CSE branch, and this college is affiliated with the JNTUH. Coming to faculty, it's very average in teaching and also practical classes, which are also very poor. The curriculum is followed by the JNTUH.
Other: Not so good but okay to do regularly.

Average college with high semester and high admission feels, infrastructure good.
Placements: In my course there are approximately 115 nos of students and around 60% students placed in that year, the highest package offered approximately 3.60 lacs per annum and the lowest 1.80 lacs per annum. Top companies are Reliance and Rashmi metaliks, Shyam sel and power ltd etc. Approximately 10% students got internship, top roles are GET and Assistant Engineer.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure are good enough. Wi-Fi are available but limited, classrooms are good with air conditioning, books will be given at time, library also good, canteen is avarage and chargeable, indoor and outdoor game available, medical facilities also there.
Faculty: In my opinion approximately 50% teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and qualified and teaching quality also very good. If anyone do proper study then I may say they are almost industry ready. Semester exam are almost tough but daily class and organize will help to clear the exam easily.
Other: I must say that college is good, there are so many memories with friends so many events like fest, sports, technical fest etc. Also if study well they will get scholarship also. Faculty need some more good teacher I must say.

It is a good tech-focused college.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 12 LPA, the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 4 LPA. Major hiring companies are IBM, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and many more. Few internship opportunities are provided. The roles offered are Java developer, dot net developer, SAP technical, and many more.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good and tidy, but the infrastructure is acceptable. Every classroom and lab has an air-conditioner and a projector for digital presentations. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Labs are average as few machines don't work. Library is very good and well-maintained. Sports events are planned annually. There are two basketball courts. The canteen and hostel mess are very good. The canteen serves various food items at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-skilled, and knowledgeable. Every instructor encourages students to learn more and develop their knowledge. Professors inspire students to do research papers, creative projects, etc. The course curriculum does not prepare students for the workforce instead, students must seek additional information to improve their expertise. Internal tests and semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage is 40%. Every student must pass both the theory and practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology. Students receive a relevant and helpful education as the curriculum emphasises the most recent technological advancements. SVMCM scholarship, minority scholarship, and many other scholarships are offered. Our college celebrates a festival Enthuzia for two days, sports, tree-planting ceremonies, tech fests, cultural, and freshers' welcoming activities. There are three clubs such as tech, music, and photography.

I am satisfied with my college because the placement percentage is amazing.
Placements: In the recently passed-out batch, maximum number of students were placed in various fields. The highest package offered is INR 8.2 LPA, and the average package is INR 4.2 LPA. In our college, every single student has the opportunity to get their desired job and fulfil their dreams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall suitable, and as per our requirements and we have individual labs along with the best faculty. The faculty members in our college are the best, their speaking and teaching qualities are amazing. According to my friends, the hostel is overall good in terms of food quality and cleanliness.
Faculty: The teachers encourage us every day, and they teach very well. Yes, this makes the course curriculum relevant and makes us ready for the industry. The semester exam is quite difficult to score good marks, but it is possible, with a passing percentage of 99%. But if everyone studies properly, it is not that difficult.
Other: Our college is big enough for various activities.
