Q:   Can I get into Swami Rama Himalayan University with 70% in class 12th?

A:

Although your grade of 70% in class 12 is impressive, depending on the programme you're interested in, it may be difficult to get into Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) just on the basis of that grade. For different programmes, SRHU takes into account the results of several national admission tests. For example, JEE Main scores are required for admission to Engineering programmes, whilst CAT scores are considered for admission to Management programmes. Irrespective of your percentage in your 12th year, getting a good score on these tests is essential to get admission to SRHU.Entrance to SRHU is not assured by merely earning a 70% in your final exam.

Remember that entrance to prestigious colleges is frequently competitive, such as SRHU. Though a strong 12th grade percentage is a solid starting point, you can improve your chances of admission by concentrating on entrance examinations, learning about programme criteria, and emphasising your overall skills.

Q:   What is the rank of Swami Rama Himalayan University?

A:

Swami Rama Himalayan University's (SRHU) ranking depends on the specific ranking system you consider, as there's no single universally accepted ranking system for Indian universities. Here's a breakdown of its standing in different contexts:

  • National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF): SRHU is not featured in the latest NIRF rankings (2024) published by the Ministry of Education, India. This ranking system is a prominent benchmark, and its absence indicates a lack of recognition at the national level compared to established institutions consistently ranked within the top tiers.

  • International Rankings: Major international university ranking bodies like QS World University Rankings or Times Higher Education World University Rankings typically focus on research-intensive universities. SRHU, with a growing focus on specific fields, might not meet the criteria for inclusion in these rankings yet.

  • Classifying SRHU definitively within a specific tier (Tier 1 or Tier 2) is challenging due to the absence of a national ranking.
  • It seems to be a promising university with a focus on specific fields and good student reviews, but it lacks recognition in national rankings compared to established institutions.

Good sports ground and teachers.
Placements: The highest package is like 5 Lacs, and the lowest is 3.2 Lacs; recruiting companies are Rubico, etc. Our college has not provided any kind of internship till now. About 80 percent of students are placed but they do not accept the job offer due to low package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has many computer labs with high-processing CPUs and computers, and the canteen is good. The food that students get in the mess is delicious. There is a big sports field for all of us and if anyone is injured, then medical facilities are there.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is superb. Yes, my course is relevant, but it makes me industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult and are average.
Other: I chose this batch because I want to have an app developed. Our college has a very energetic fest, and various scholarships are available in our college.

Good infrastructure and teachers are here.
Placements: Almost every student gets the placement opportunity, but only a few students take the placement on campus. Currently, according to my knowledge, there is no internship opportunity provided by the college. The highest package would be almost 8 LPA, and the lowest is, I think, 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college is good; almost every facility is there; good computer labs are there; a canteen is there; and the cafeteria has top-quality food. A big playground is available in our college, along with tennis, badminton, volleyball, and basketball courts.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teachers here focus more on practical knowledge than theory. Semester exams are average here, not too hard, almost medium-level, and the and the course curriculum is relevant according to me.
Other: I chose this course because it is very popular, and as we all know, the future is AI. That's why. The best thing about my course is that it has coding and various computer languages we learn here.

I am satisfied with this college faculty but not satisfied with the placement.
Placements: The yoga college does not currently have a placement system in place. However, the placement cell recently received a job opportunity from Decathlon for a salesman position. Unfortunately, all students are guaranteed an internship in the college, which proves to be useless and a waste of time for them.
Infrastructure: The yoga college's infrastructure has been lacking so far, but efforts are underway to construct a suitable building for the yoga hall. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi facilities are still unavailable, and the library is in a very poor condition. Additionally, the students have to sit on the ground in the classroom as there is no concept of tables and chairs, which is not ideal.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable, each possessing unique teaching qualities. Undoubtedly, this course is relevant and helps students become industry-ready to some extent, although there is room for improvement. The semester exams are not excessively challenging.

SRHU review from my point of view.
Placements: As a college student, till now I have heard that about the placement rate is 80% and the average package is around 4.5 Lacs per year. The highest package, according to May, is around 6 lacs, and the lowest package is like 3.2 lacs, according to seniors the placement is like average; the top recruiting companies according to me are Rubico, etc. Till now, according to me, there have been no internship in my college.
Infrastructure: According to me, the infrastructure here is tremendous; there are cleaned washrooms here and the cafeteria is around 100 metres away from the campus. In the hostel, there are laundry services, and the rooms in the hostels have all the facilities.
Faculty: The teachers here are very qualified and unable and they are very helpful. If we get any doubt in our session, then we can directly go into their cabins and programs; they help us and the guides and give us the best solution for the problem; they help us everywhere; and they also motivate us in the best way; semester exams are like average and not so hard.
Other: I chose this because I want to do something in the field of data science, and I like data science. The best thing about my course is that there are very few students, so the teacher's attention is quite good and we can ask her questions anytime and anyhow. According to me, this is the best college for data science.

SRHU moments according to me.
Placements: The percentage of students placed each year is 80 to 90 % and each student becomes well qualified after coming here. The top recruiting companies here are Wipro, Cymotech, and Jio. The percentage of student interns here is 60 to 70 percent. And the role offered to students is manager.
Infrastructure: The college is well facilitated and a lot of facilities are provided here, like the whole campus wi-fi network, well-maintained classrooms and highly maintained libraries. Other facilities are also provided, like sports kits and canteens, and hostels are of high quality.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified with high-quality teaching skills. Every teacher is highly qualified in there own fields and graduated from top universities. Semester exams are tough enough to prepare students for future challenges and questions.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer from the beginning. This was my dream. A lot of events are organised here yearly, like the annual festival, and with different festivals, scholarships are provided according to inter-school grades and other merits.

A:

Unfortunately, direct admission to Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) without going through the application process doesn't usually happen. The procedure for accepting students at SRHU is very well-defined; fair and merit-based selection. SRHU's programs are mostly filled through the JEE Main and other centralized admission systems such as state-level engineering entrance examinations for B.Tech or NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) national admittance test for medical studies.

SRHU, with a relatively smaller student body than larger institutions of higher learning, may lack seats in each program. PerhapsSRHU follows internal policies and regulations set by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or other regulatory bodies, which do not allow direct admissions outside of normal procedures. Submit your application online or offline by the designated time frame.
