Aspirants who will be appearing in CUET UG 2024 exam will be required to participate in the counselling / admission process of any University / Institution / organisation even though they have not applied for that University / Institution / organisation in the Online Application Form of CUET UG - 2024. Notably, aspirants must fulfil the eligibility criteria of that course of University / Institution / organisation where they are aspiring to take admission. For UG courses admission, candidates need to clear Class 12 from a recognised board. Final selection is done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university or merit in Class 12. For PG courses, candidates need to have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from Karnataka University or an equivalent university. Candidates must note that the final selection criteria vary from course to course. Admission for the academic year 2023 is open for BSc and MSc in Geography & Geography- informatics.

Out of 417 UG (3-year) graduates, 252 were placed during Calcutta University placements 2022. For BTech and BA LLB courses, the number of students placed was 305 and 95, respectively. The placement rate recorded for UG (3-year), BTech and BA LLB courses was 60%, 85%, and 80%, respectively. Earlier, 247 UG (3-year), 189 BTech and 96 BA LLB students were placed during 2021 placements.
