The Master's programme in Forensic Science at Uppsala University has received the highest possible quality credential in the latest evaluation by the Swedish Higher Education Authority. The academic eligibility for this course is a Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be molecular Biology biomedicine, Chemistry Biology or a similar field of study that includes at least 15 credits in Chemistry and/or biochemistry as well as 15 credits in cell Biology molecular Biology and/or gene. Otherwise, a four-year Bachelor's degree is required for entry into Master's programs. In exceptional cases:
A 3-year Bachelor's plus a master's degree is accepted. In some cases, a 3-year honors or specialisation degree within political Science, history, language, and some other subjects is accepted. Generally, Indian students are not required to take TOEFL or IELTS tests. Therefore, you may get admission if you meet the above-mentioned criteria. Also, students are selected based on a total appraisal of the quantity and quality of previous university studies, a statement of purpose, and relevant work experience.
