CAT 2017 Eligibility:
Here are the eligibility criteria for CAT 2017:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PWD/DA category).
- Percentage obtained in Bachelor's degree would be calculated on the basis of practice followed by the concerned university/institution. In case of grades/CGPA, the conversion would be based on the process defined by the concerned university/ institution.
- In absence of any percentage conversion scheme, candidates CGPA will be divided by maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

To pursue Bachelor's degree in Germany, students must complete 13 year of education that is one formal year of schooling after class 12th. You can attain this either by enrolling into a Bachelor's degree course in India and completing the first year or by clearing IIT JEE Advanced. You must also be fluent in German language, since majority of the Bachelor degree course in Germany are taught in German language.

Engineering graduation is on a different plane than becoming AME. AE will get you jobs in areas of aviation research. It could be stepping stone for MBA or civil services exam. Recently, Infosys appointed an AE as it's CEO. On the other hand, AME along with license from DGCA will ensure job for you in an airline.
