Every institute has few leftover seats or allowed seats instead of ranking, after all the process gets over, the institute can offer the seat. Sometimes cost of the seats are almost 5 times of normal fee. You also have to clear other requirement after getting results. For example, you may be a graduate but to pursue an MBA you need to have cleared XAT, MAT, CET, GMAT, CMAT, etc. It. applies even when you apply for management quota.
