Admission to CSE courses offered at Rayat Bahra University is merit-based. To apply online, candidates are expected to check the official website of the college. Whereas, if the candidates want to apply offline, then they have to collect the application form from the campus by paying the application fee. The Rayat Bahra University courses eligibility criteria is as follows:

• For admission to undergraduate courses, candidates must have a minimum 60% mark in the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
• For admission to postgraduate courses, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field and achieve a minimum of 50% marks  (45% for candidates from reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
• For admission to diploma courses, candidates must appear in the 10+2 examination  (in any stream) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the qualifying examination).

The admission process for various courses offered at BU is different. While the university accepts entrance exams for admission to a few courses, admission to some courses is confirmed after discussion with the admission counsellor. Candidates can detail detailed admission process below:

STEP 1: Bahra University Application Process 2024

Candidates are required to apply online on the official website of the institute. The application fee at BU is INR 1,100.

STEP 2: Selection Rounds

Students will be selected based on Counsellor Interaction/ JEE Main/ CUET, CUET scores as per respective courses. Candidates might also have to appear for faculty interaction (if required). The university also has the facility for provisional registration or seat booking by paying an amount of INR 10,000.

STEP 3: Merit List and Admission Confirmation

Once selection rounds are over, the institute releases a merit list. To allot and confirm the seat candidates are required to pay the application fee at the admission receipt centre.
