There are many cultural events occur in BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY throughout the year, like Saraswati Puja, Holi Milan Samaroh, Sarhul, Foundation Day, Annual Sports Meet, Agro Tech Kisan Mela, Diwali Party, Christmas Gathering.
Despite of these events many sports related activity like Volley ball match, basketball match, badminton competition, etc. as well as academic related activity like quiz competition, elocution competition, poster making, dance competition, slogan writing etc. always use to happen in BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Since we have several colleges that come under Birsa Agricultural University like Ranchi Veterinary College, Ranchi Agricultural College, College of Forestry, Agricultural Engineering College and various other colleges. So the total numbers may vary accordingly and to give an exact number would be a challenging task. However a total of approximately 15000 students are currently studying at BAU.
