According to the university board Students are admitted in unreserved and various reserved categories strictly on the basis of merit in the respective category through an entrance examination as per the reservation rules of Jharkhand state. Semester system of education is followed in the University.

The highest package details are yet to be released. However, the median package is available. As per the NIRF report 2023, the highest median package offered during 2022 placements was INR 8.09 LPA and was made to PG (2-year) students. Out of 330 BSc/ BTech graduates 27 were placed during 2022 placements. Further, 4 BCVSc and 30 PG (2-year) students were placed in the 2022 drive. When comparing the data from 2020 to 2022, a fluctuating trend was observed in the number of students placed in all the UG and PG courses offered at the University. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students was the highest and the amount stood at INR 8.09 LPA. Yes, you will definitely get into Birsa Agricultural University. In fact, you can get the top colleges of Birsa Agricultural University like Ranchi Agriculture College, Ranchi; College of Forestry, Ranchi; College of Agriculture Engineering, Ranchi; Garhwa Agriculture College, Garhwa, etc.

Yes, you can get B.Sc in Agriculture. But it is hard to get into Ranchi agriculture college, you may get into the Garhwa agriculture college.

Yes, internships does offer in BAU. However, it's upto the students who wants to join it or not, BAU provides many internships according to the choice and interest students can apply for it. It is offered in both offline and online mode.
Since there are many colleges in BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, not all of them made the internship compulsory except for the VETERINARY STUDENTS, it is mandatory for six months.
Apart from these internship BAU does provide students with the exposure of many industrial areas, agribusiness programes, etc. Also, most of the courses provided by BAU have a whole one semester dedicated to such industria

The package depends upon the college you are in as there are many colleges comes under BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY
(BAU). As per the latest reports the median package offered at BAU is 2.5 to 3 Lacs per annum.

There are several mess available at our college.
Quality of which may vary depending upon the management available there.
Overall proper food is provided in every mess and quality of food may vary from mess to mess which mainly depends on the management available there.
So mess can be considered good with decent quality food provided.
