Yes, your decision is correct. It's good to do MBA rather than going for MCA. MCA is highly technical orientated and which is a further study of what you have learned in BCA classes. But MBA is not like that you will learn how to manage a company and you can also use the knowledge of BCA when required. In my opinion, you should go for MBA and do your higher studies and get placed in an IT firm. There, you can use both technical and managerial skills.

Before planning for any examination, it is very important to check out some basic but important points. One of the most important point before applying any course is the eligibility. It needs to be checked whether the candidate is eligible for appearing for desired course or not. Eligibility of the Master of Computer Applications MCA. Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45% to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from this, there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.
