Always first check admission requirements of the desired programme you want to study. All universities have their own admission criteria. Majority of the universities in Canada do not accept three years Bachelor's degree. Secondly, they are all very competitive and very good academic grades are required. Thirdly as an international applicant, you must take the IELTS or TOEFL to meet the English language requirements. Similarly, there are other requirements which will vary from university to university. So first you decide what and where to study and prepare accordingly.

To begin with you need to keep a close check on the form dates of all the good colleges which offer post graduation in journalism. For starters, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Symbiosis (Pune), Jamia Millia Islamia, Times School of Journalism (Delhi), Asian College of Journalism (Chennai) and St. Xavier's College (Mumbai) are some of the best ones in India. There are others like Makhan Lal Chaturvedi University (Bhopal/Noida), Aligarh Muslim University and Banaras Hindu Universit
