MCA is a specialisation course, whereas MBA is more of generalized course. In MBA, you have to go through all the aspects of business periphery. Whether marketing, finance, organizational behavior, operation management, human behavior etc. Most esteem B school make you go through all these subjects and in second year you can opt your major/ minor or any core course. Whereas in MCA you will get to work on computer application, which is required in any firm. But, it is limited to only one segment or vertical. You should make decision based on whether you want to go for specialisation course or generalised course. Good luck.

Hello Boothlingam Pillai, Both are good courses. However I feel that BCA is better since it has more slant for professional orientation. In addition, B.Sc. Is oriented towards theory rather than practical. Hence my advise is that if you are looking for job orientation then its BCA for you. Best wishes.
