Firstly, you have to check your caliber and interest because BCA require a good foundation in maths and interest in IT fields like software, software testing or programming. But, on the other hand, B.Com require good foundation in accounts and interest in financial sector.
So, decide as per your strong subjects and interests too.

The eligibility criteria for doing BCA at Christ University is class 12th from any recognized board in India. Students pursuing international curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than C or its equivalent. Candidates writing class 12th examinations in March-May 2017 may apply with their class 10th and 12th marks for session 2017-20.

BCA is a 3 year degree course in computer applications, which prepare you for junior programmer's role. You will get a job in only medium or smaller enterprise only. This degree is not equivalent to BE CS. MCA is treated somewhat equal to BE CS. Therefore, if you have a choice, then you should opt for BE CS not BCA.

Yes, MCA is a good options after BCA.
For being eligible to apply for MCA, you should have mathematics as one of the subjects in class 12th or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you can fulfill this criteria, then you are eligible for MCA.
I would like to state that the most of the entrance exams are conducted in April or May. The notifications are out in January or February. The combined MCA entrance tests held in India are:
1. NIMCET for NITs.
2. CET Maharashtra for Maharashtra colleges.
3. UPMCAT for most colleges in UP.
4. Andhra Pradesh CET for Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
5. Orissa state MCA test for all col
