-Consultant
-Professor
-Forensic
-Dental surgeon
-Oral pathologist
-Dental hygienist
-Dental Assistant
-Private practitioners

-Dental Lab Technician / Ceramist
-Medical Representative / Sales Representative
* As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
-As a trainee in government hospital you can earn initial salary of around Rs. 6000 every month with allowances.
-In private hospitals per month it could be around Rs. 3,500 – 4,000.
-After post-graduate, you can earn around Rs. 7,000 upwards.
-A dental surgeon can earn good amount of money by their own practice.
-A consultant charges from Rs 250 on wards for cosmetic filling or routine check-up. This may increase up to Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 depending upon the nature of the dental problem.
-A well experienced dentist can earn around Rs 30,000 to Rs 1, 00,000 or more per month.
