Delhi NCR has 25 BDS colleges, including private and government colleges, Some of the top colleges are Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), Post-Graduate Institute of Dental Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies, School of Dental Sciences (SDS), Sharda University, etc. Admission are mainly based on NEET and Haryana NEET score.

There are about 25 BDS colleges in Delhi NCR, of which 11 colleges are owned privately and 7 colleges are owned by the government. NEET, and Haryana NEET are the popular entrance exams for admission to best BDS colleges in Delhi. Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, JMI, Post Graduate Institute of Dental Science, School of Dental Sciences, DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research are the top BDS colleges in Delhi NCR.

Government colleges like KGMU usually offer around 100 BDS seats each year. Private colleges typically have about 100 seats, split between different quota categories. These include state quota, management quota, and NRI quota seats. Reservation for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories also applies as per state policy. Yes, private BDS colleges in Lucknow do accept students with comparatively lower NEET scores. Admission in these cases usually happens through management or NRI quota seats. Government colleges like KGMU have very high competition and need a strong NEET rank. So, if your score is on the lower side, private colleges are a good backup option.
