There are about 20+ BDS colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 10+ colleges are privately owned and 2 colleges are owned by public/government organisations. Admissions to these colleges are usually based on NEET entrance exam.

The UP BDS colleges are SVSU - Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, KGMU, IMS BHU, School of Dental Sciences (SDS), Sharda University, and many others.

Desh Bhagat University NEET cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final round of seat allotment for the BDS course. The cutoff was released for both the AI and HS quotas. 

For all AI quota categories, the overall cutoff varied between 627176 and 1311773 for admission to the BDS course. Students can refer to the table below to know the category-wise cutoff range for the AI quota.

Admission to Maharishi Markandeshwar University is both entrance and merit-based.  MMU Mullana determines the cutoff depending on the number of candidates and seats available. The cutoff was released for several categories belonging to the AI quota. For the General AI quota, the NEET UG last round closing rank was 117759 for BDS admission. Students can refer to the table below to view the first and last round cutoffs 2025 for the General AI category students.

A good score depends on the course chosen and the category of the candidate. The NEET UG entrance examination cutoff is released in the form of ranks. 

For the General AI category, the MBBS course requires a rank of at least 548164 or below to gain admission. For the BDS course, the last round rank was 773976 for the aforementioned category. Hence, any rank below these could be considered good enough for admission for this category. 

Note: Other categories will have different cutoffs.
