For BDS you need to qualify NEET entrance exam. There are subsequent exams for BAMS.
In NEET, there are state & All India cut-off whereas for BAMS there are different exams conducted on state basis & have their own cut-off.

If you also prefer opportunities for private practice also, there are more earning potentials for BDS than B.Sc agriculture. Opportunities exist in state agricultural department and entrepreneurship with B.Sc agriculture.

Hi Badal,
The BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the only educational and professional program of dental surgery in India.In the medical educational field, it is the second choice of the students after the MBBS course. It has also a very good job opening like that of MBBS. There are plenty of good jobs & higher study opportunities available after getting the degree in dentistry as a doctor. Especially in abroad, you will get more openings. Salary is in the range of 5-8 lacs per annum.
After completing BDS, you may find employment as :

-Professors
-Forensics
-Dental surgeon
-Oral pathologist
-Dental hygienist
