Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility and admission requirements of Beautician and Makeup courses as offered at the beauty institutes as under: 

Course Level

Eligibility Criteria 

Short-term/ advanced/ professional certificate courses 

  • Candidates should have passed at least class 10th or equivalent qualifying examination.
  • For advanced short-term courses, candidates should have completed a basic course or relevant subject.

UG and PG Diploma courses 

For UG Diploma 

  • Candidates should have passed at least class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination.
  • Those who have completed certificate courses after class 10th or equivalent qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for Diploma courses.

For PG Diploma 

Candidates should have completed class 12th and a bachelor's degree in any stream
