Dietetics is the Science and art of feeding individuals based on the principles of nutrition. It can also be said to be the Science and art of human nutritional care. Diet therapy and its application in patient related settings is a major focus of dietetics. Thus, the field of dietetics can be related to: (a) nutrition care and intervention focused on the individual and (b) nutrition care and intervention focused on the group.

Aspiring beauticians can find training opportunities in certificate and associate's degree programs in relevant fields, like cosmetology and esthetics. These programmes provide adequate skills and training for licensure.
Training programmes in these areas are available at technical schools, community colleges and private for-profit schools. These professions require state licensing before practicing at a professional level.

50% seats for Christian Minority = 10 seats

Entrance examination/ Admission Procedure
i) Review of past academic performance [Minimum 60 per cent at T.Y.B.Sc. level for open Category]

ii) Performance at Common Entrance Exam (Written) (Rs.200/- to be paid for Entrance Test.)
