No, there is no negative marking in the BEET exam giving candidates complete freedom to solve as many questions as they can without the fear of loosing marks in the exam. For each correct answer, candidates will be alloted 1 marks each.

In the BEET exam, the questions will be asked from the below topics -
- English – 10 questions
- Reasoning – 20 questions
- General Awareness – 25 questions
- Environment of Teaching in School – 25 questions
- Subject Awareness - 20 questions
While preparing for the exam, candidates must solve maximum practice questions from General Awarness, Environment of Teaching in School and Subject Awareness to increase their chances of qualification.

No there are no specific books for the same, however, candidates can refer to the common books for teaching entrance exams such as "Teaching Aptitude and General Knowledge" by Arihant Publications, and other specific guides for reasoning and general awareness. For current affairs, daily newspaper reading is highly recommended.

The BEET exam dates are yet to be out however we can expect the notification to be out either in May or June, while the exam will be held in August. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of shiksha.com as well as the conducting authority to keep track of the updates as well as plan their preparation effectively and complete all application formalities on time.

Mental Ability: "A Modern Approach to Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning" by R.S. Aggarwal.
Teaching Aptitude: "Teaching Aptitude & Attitude Test" by Arihant Publications.
General Awareness: "Lucent's General Knowledge" and newspapers like The Hindu.
Language Proficiency: "English Grammar & Composition" by Wren & Martin.
Candidates can also refer to online notes, youtube video tutorials by experts, however, they must limit their online dependency and not completely rely on them. They must also solve past year question papers which is an ultimate preparation material.

To download the BEET admit card candidates will have to visit the official website. On the official website, they will have to log in with their credentials, to access the admit card. Once the admit card is available candidates need to check all the details mentioned on it such as their name, roll number, exam date, and exam center. If they find any discrepancies they will have to immediately contact the exam authorities for correction.
