In short, the answer is no. IMT only allows regular graduation degrees people and not distance. Many tier 2 and tier 3 colleges accept only regular degrees. I too have a degree in distance education but they didn't allow me with that degree because my regular degree's result was delayed so I wanted to enquire can I take admitted with a regular degree. Then they gave me an extension to submit my documents but didn't allow me with a distance degree.

Chances for VIT Vellore are very less. While the chances for VIT Bhopal for Mechanical are high.

Hello dear student, B.Sc. Nursing is a very good choice of study. These are some colleges whose First Year fees is less than INR 2 Lacs.
Rabindranath Tagore University - 1 Lacs FY fees
RKDF University - 90k FY fees
Radharaman Institute of Nursing (RINS) - 58k FY fees
LNCT University - 90k FY fees
Trinity Institute of technology and research - 60k FY fees
People's University - 1.15 Lacs FY fees
(FY means First Year)

Hello! Himadri Basu, it is very nice to hear from you about enquiry of cutoff ranks or enquiry about possibilities of getting the branches you mention with ranking of about 1.2 Lacs. To put you into a proper perspective let me say that the first round closing rank for CSE was 7000 while for the other branches that you have mention it varies and is up to about 14000. This does not mean that you will not get admission, it only means that you need to wait for vacancies to arise as students who are in the better position leave for IIT or nits and then the students who have scored less get a chance for admission with lower scores.
