The university is inspired by the BITS-Pilani University. The faculty here are world class whose experience in teaching has been phenomenal. Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar has successfully completed it's XUBERANCE 2017 with 100% placement of 2015-17 batch of MBA (BM). The year 2017 embarked another glory in the history of XIMB with 100% placement with more number of companies and more offers being made across domains .
No of students who participated were 362, number of companies -102, 60 company were new recruiter,
50% increase in number of recruitment agency participating.
The year saw record placement with move up in the average salary from Rs 12.44 lakh to Rs 13.26 lakh. with the highest package being Rs 22 lakh at domestic level .
