Hi, many students who are from non commerce background dont know economics. The course is designed in such a way that all the students are at par. Economics is just a subject in the first semester and like you there are many students who are not that familiar with the subject so prior knowledge about the subject is not mandatory but if one has it then it becomes easier for him or her. A student should have a degree in order to be eligible for the course.
