I request you to not restrict yourself to biotechnology. I think you should take both bio and maths. But, clear bio/ maths with just passing marks. Most importantly maths when you are interested in biotechnology. You can also take biotechnology and maths in your school, if they offer biotechnology in class 11th.

Biotechnology is a newer field, but has limited jobs. B.Sc in nursing has wider options, though the salary package is low.

Lekhraj, I have heard quite a lot about LPU and it's all good. It has earned a good name for itself in education field. It is a top class university with world class infrastructure. It is known for the best placements in North India. Also, they offer scholarships to meritorious students.
You should try for admission there. It definitely is going to be a good choice.
Good luck.

It depends on your interests and career plan. The options after B.Sc in Biotech would be to do your Masters and then do your doctoral studies if you wish to be in the area of Research or a job in academia.
Some options are available for getting a job in the area of Production control or Quality Analyst in organisations such as Biocon, You should be really good with your basics on concepts such as Fermentation technology, Bio-remediation etc.
However, it's worthwhile doing your Masters and your doctoral studies (P.hd) and then trying for a job.
What really matters is your interest and the career plan that you have planned for yourself, whi
