Both the courses are good as it depends on your choices but both need higher education like M.Sc or M.Com after graduation.

This is a rapidly developing field but it is advisable to do M.sc for more career prospects.
Some prominent industries where biotechnology professionals may find jobs are:
1) Pharmaceuticals Industry
2) Healthcare Sector
3) Chemical Industry
4) Research Sector
Research sector, in particular, is quite lucrative. One may build a rewarding career in this field.
To thrive in this field, one must possess B.Sc as well as M.Sc degree. Average starting salary is generally between 2-5 LPA.

I will suggest you to go for biotech. It has it has more scope and opportunities than chemistry. But it totally depends on your interests so select you career accordingly.

There are many colleges which offer a course in biotechnology in Mumbai. Some of the better ones are as follows:
1) IIT-Mumbai
2) St. Xavier's
Reviews of RJ College are quite positive. Hostel facilities are not available. However, the overall infrastructure is rated good. College fee is very affordable and the teaching faculty is competent enough to prepare the students for the industry. Overall, a good choice.
